About Shamu Nursery School 

Target 2022/2023 – This part of the community lacks a children’s nursery to avail the young ones to early education. The small children currently cross dangerous rivers to access the nearest nursery. The winter’s in Zimbabwe are bitter and this long and treacherous journey is unkind to the children as well as unsafe.

An equipped local nursery would be God sent to this community. It would provide some employment for some of the young women and men in the community who are educated but unable to source jobs in the tough economic climate. They can take care of the children, teach them, prepare meals as well as manage the upkeep of the establishment. With the help of sponsors, we can pay very affordable and reasonable salaries that will elevate the unemployed to breadwinners for their families.

The villagers are very skilled in moulding bricks. However, they require funds to purchase the raw materials to make the bricks as well as purchase all other building requirements to complete the building such as roofing, windows, doors.
