Today we share a story that bears the seeds of great future’s

On our trip to Domboshava, Zimbabwe this February – we were approached by a young man called Shelton.

Shelton has the heart and mindset of greatness in him. He loves football and aspires to become a footballer (and he will by God’s mighty grace)

He continued to come and ask persistently and said “Aunty we love football but we have no where to play, no football and and we would like your help?” ?? – they play with a DIY plastic bag football in the pictures

We thought so what can we do (there’s always something you can do). He said anything you can do

On returning to England, Shelton would not depart from our hearts and we made a pledge that we would do something

Guess what, when we received the donation of the clothes we got after the Zim trip – the first thing we saw in one of the bags where an Adidas sports jacket Junior size!! Then we went into our garden and we saw a football that had been left by previous owners ⚽️

We knew that God had heard Shelton. So we’ve adopted him and his team in picture to what is “The Shamu Jnr Football Team”

▪︎ The Chief of the area has agreed to help us create a football pitch for Shelton and team

▪︎ Mambano Projects has pledged to help purchase new football Uniforms from the UK ?? (please let us know if you’d like to support)

▪︎ We will also get them new footballs and support their passion for football (we all need to start somewhere right?)

God hears the cry of ALL his children. Let’s get our Mambano Projects (Shamu Football Team sorted guys ⚽️ ? !!!)
